About: Sometimes you need to give a show time. Sometimes you need to revisit something that you gave up on too quickly. The fact that Fleabag is on this list is a testament to that idea. I remember watching the first two episodes and giving up. I figured it wasn't for me. The style was different and it didn't click. Later, I saw Waller-Bridge in other series, and greatly enjoyed her work on Killing Eve as a writer, so I wondered if I was too harsh. That was especially true after the second season dropped to rave reviews. So, I dove back in. I finished the first season and found that it actually grew on me as I went through. Then I moved into the second season, and I fell in love. Waller-Bridge is great in the lead role. Her performance and comic timing is great. Her writing on the series is great, too. I also LOVED Scott, who appears as a priest in the second season. Their chemistry together is incredible. I enjoyed the the two seasons, which together form one of the better offerings on Amazon Prime and in the streaming catalog. So, the series is a testament to giving things another chance. It was a great, and easy watch, one that ends up making my list of streaming series.
