Wade Wilson: I had another Liam Neeson nightmare. I kidnapped his daughter and he just wasn't having it.

Wade Wilson: They made three of those movies. At some point you have to wonder if he's just a bad parent.
Deadpool (2016)
Starring: Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Karan Soni, and Ed Skrein
Director: Tim Miller
About: This film was a revelation when it came out. It's the part Reynolds was born to play and he plays it beautifully. This is a hilarious film, albeit one that is difficult to find a good quote from since so many of them contain R-rated language. This film was not only something different and R-rated, it turned the genre on its head in many ways. I love the sense of humor, the action and the way this offered something different during the midst of a deluge of superhero films that continues to this day. The sequel made this list a bit earlier, but the original got it started. It's not for everyone, especially because of the coarse language and violence, but it works and remains true to the character. It's also a heck of a ride.
