Emmet: You don't have to be the bad guy. You are the most talented, most interesting, and most extraordinary person in the universe. And you are capable of amazing things. Because you are the Special. And so am I. And so is everyone. The prophecy is made up, but it's also true. It's about all of us. Right now, it's about you. And you... still... can change everything.
The Lego Movie (2014)
Starring: Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Will Arnett, Elizabeth Banks, and Alison Brie
Director: Phil Lord and Christopher Miller
About: Everything is Awesome! Especially with this first Lego movie. I've long enjoyed Legos, but I was wondering how a movie would work. What we got with this was something fun, memorable, and, well, awesome. The original song is catchy but so, too, are the characters. And the ending that breaks the fourth wall in a way adds plenty of heart. This is a great and inspiring animated film.
