2024 Broncos' Season, Week 15

Week 15: Denver Broncos 31, Indianapolis Colts 13
Season Record: 9-5 (5-2 Home)
Key Play: In the third quarter, with the Colts leading 13-7, Jonathan Taylor broke free on a 41-yard run to the end zone. But he let go of the ball prior to crossing the goal line, turning a touchdown into a fumble and a touchback for the Broncos.

Recap: Good teams find a way to win even when things aren't going there way. The Broncos came into a huge game with the Colts under a lot of pressure. They saw the Colts put up a great opening drive, and watched their own offense struggle. Bo Nix wasn't at his best, managing just 130 passing yards and tossing three interceptions. But, this team is resilient. Some great returns from Marvin Mims and a great performance from the defense kept them in the game and helped them take the lead. The Broncos won, taking another step toward a playoff berth. They also take a one-game lead on the Chargers in the Wild Card race. Both those things are huge with three games left to play this season. The Broncos have a big game with the Chargers Thursday night, then games with the Bengals and Chiefs that could lead to a great finish and making the playoffs for the first time in a decade. Either way, it's been a tremendous season and the future, for the first time in a while, looks bright.
