2025 Broncos' Season, Biggest Areas of Need
After a strong initial wave, it's been a quiet period for the Denver Broncos when it comes to free agency. That doesn't mean the team is without holes to fill. Below are a couple positions I think the Broncos could still look to add players either through free agency or the draft.
Running Back: The Broncos let Javonte Williams walk, which leaves them with Audric Estime, Jaleel McLaughlin, Tyler Badie, and Blake Watson on the roster. It's not a bad group, but it's hard to imagine the team won't add to that. Could it be in free agency? There are still some options on the table. But I think this could likely be filled somewhere in the draft.
Wide Receiver: I don't know if this is an immediate need, as I like the potential of Courtland Sutton, Marvin Mims, and Troy Franklin as a starting three. But I think the Broncos will add to the group. This could be a space where they grab a veteran, but it's another spot that feels like a potential rookie.
Tight End: Yes, the Broncos brought in Evan Engram. But are they done at the position? I suspect they could add another young player.
Linebacker: The team added Dre Greenlaw, which should help, but there is space for more. This is an area where I could see them adding a veteran.
Offensive Line: Can you ever have enough lineman? Probably not. I think the Broncos will add more to the position, and it come through both free agency and the draft.
