2025 Broncos' Season, Week 1

Week 1: Denver Broncos 20, Tennessee Titans 12
Season Record: 1-0 (1-0 Home)
Key Play: In the fourth quarter, with the Broncos up 13-12, rookie R.J. Harvey broke a run for 50 yards to set up a crucial Broncos score to boost the lead to eight.

Recap: It wasn't pretty, but it was a win. The Broncos have plenty of expectation and pressure this year and that seemed to be a factor. Bo Nix struggled early, throwing interceptions and fumbling the ball. But he also delivered a beautiful touchdown pass to Courtland Sutton. In the end, the Broncos got some good plays from Evan Engram, Harvey, Sutton, and others as well as a suffocating performance on defense. It wasn't a great game and it wasn't the easy win that some thought would happen, but it's a win. Time to clean some things up and look forward to the next game against the Colts.

Game Balls:
* Courtland Sutton.
The Broncos' best receiver and captain caught six passes for 61 yards and a touchdown, drawing a couple big penalties, too.
* Nik Bonitto. The Broncos' star rusher got a big contract and came up with a big sack and a couple big blow up plays as part of a great defensive showing.
