2025 Broncos' Season, Week 15
Week 15: Denver Broncos 34, Green Bay Packers 26
Season Record: 12-2 (7-0 Home)
Key Play: In the fourth quarter, with the Broncos leading by eight and the Packers facing a Fourth and 9, the Broncos came up with a big sack to squelch the drive.
Recap: This was a huge game on the Broncos' schedule. The team came in having won 10 straight games, tied for the best record in football and holding the No. 1 seed in the AFC. They faced a Packers team that entered the year as favorites for the Super Bowl. The pressure was on. And this team delivered. It was an exceptional performance. The defense bent, but didn't break. They allowed field goals to keep the game close, and came up with big sacks and big interceptions when needed. I've been critical of the offense at times this season. Bo Nix has been uneven, and some of the play calling from Sean Payton has been curious. They set all those doubts aside today. This was the best offensive performance of the season. It was a magnificent game all around and a huge win. The Broncos now have the best record in football, they've locked up a playoff spot, and they're in the driver's seat for the AFC West and the No. 1 seed. It's truly been a magical season.
Game Balls:
* Bo Nix. The sophomore quarterback came up huge, going for more than 300 yards and four big touchdowns.
* Courtland Sutton. The Broncos' best offensive player was also huge, catching seven passes for 113 yards and a touchdown.
* Pat Surtain and Riley Moss. The two lockdown corners came up huge, each grabbing a big interception in the win.
