Upcoming Releases--February, 2026

We've made it to February. It's the second month of the year, which brings with it some anticipated films for the first part of 2026. What of these new films stand out? Let's dive in.

Friday, February 6:
Dracula (Theaters):
This is writer/director Luc Besson's take on the story. Caleb Landry Jones is in the lead. It looks unique, at least.

Solo Mio (Theaters): February also brings the romantic season. This one features Kevin James as a man looking for love in Europe. It's a date night movie.

The Strangers: Chapter 3 (Theaters): This brings this chapter of The Strangers to a close. Mercifully it's ending. If you liked the first two, dive in. If not, you can skip this.

Whistle (Theaters): This is the latest from Shudder/IFC, which is getting a release in theaters. It features Dafne Keen and Nick Frost. It looks like it might be a solid horror film.

Scarlet (Theaters): This animated film is an anime-style film that got a limited release in 2025. Now, it's getting a big launch in IMax. It's a bold, colorful tale that should excite anime fans and animated film audiences.

Friday, February 13:
Wuthering Heights (Theaters):
This is a new take on the classic tale, this time from Emerald Fennell. This one has a hot cast featuring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi and releases in time for Valentine's Day.

Crime 101 (Theaters): This is an action heist drama starring Chris Hemsworth. The cast looks great and the trailers have me sold. I can't wait to see where this one is going.

Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die (Theaters): This is a fun, futuristic science fiction tale from director Gore Verbinski. It has an amazing cast and a really fun premise. This is worth checking out.

GOAT (Theaters): This new animated tale is a basketball story, of sorts. It comes from producer Steph Curry. It looks like like it will be fun for the whole family.

Friday, February 20:
How to Make a Killing (Theaters):
This is the new drama from John Patton Ford. It stars Glen Powell and Jessica Henwick and is a remake of a famous 1949 British black comedy. This could be fun.

I Can Only Imagine 2 (Theaters): This is a sequel to the first film, which told the backstory of singer Bart Millard. This one follows more of his life and career and should appeal to fans of the first.

Psycho Killer (Theaters): Are you looking for a violent, hard-core horror film? If so, this will be for you. We've seen a lot of horror releases to start the year, but this one looks particularly over-the-top, which seems to be what they're going for. If you're looking for violence, this is the ticket.

Friday, February 27:
Scream 7 (Theaters):
This is the latest in the Scream franchise. This one puts the focus squarely back on Sydney Prescott (Neve Campbell) and returns Kevin Williamson to the helm. This could be good or it could be a disaster. Feels like there is no inbetween.

EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert (Theaters): People can never get enough of Elvis Presley. This is a big screen concert featuring the King and put together by Baz Luhrman. If you're an Elvis fan, this will be right in your wheelhouse.

Man on the Run (Prime Video): The streamer ends the month with this documentary on Paul McCartney. Prime Video has been strong with documentaries lately. This should be a fun one.

In the Blink of an Eye (Hulu): This new drama from director Andrew Stanton spans thousands of years and follows three different stories. It's a big concept that could yield some strong results.
