2026 Broncos' Season, Quarterback Room


The off-season is in full swing. We've seen free agency and the 2026 NFL Draft. Now, it's time to take stock of the roster and begin figuring out who will be the final 53 players to suit up for the Broncos during the 2026 NFL Season. Over the next few weeks, we'll be looking at each unit for the Broncos. Today, that begins with quarterbacks.

On the Roster: Bo Nix, Jarrett Stidham, and Sam Ehlinger

About: The Broncos have the same three quarterbacks they did in 2025 and I don't see that changing. It's obviously a solid group. While Stidham didn't prevail in the AFC Championship Game, he put up a solid fight. He's a strong backup quarterback with experience in Sean Payton's system. Ehlinger is a decent development option and a solid No. 3. Nix is Payton's pick to be franchise quarterback, and he's made the playoffs in each of his two seasons. The only question about him right now is his health, as he's had a second surgery following a broken ankle.

Roster Prediction: Nix and Stidham. The Broncos typically have carried two and I think they will again, so long as Nix is healthy.

  It’s Christmas week, and you might find yourself looking for some distractions in the form of new shows to check out. But which are worth checking out?   It was a solid week for new releases, including my favorite animated film of the year. You can keep up with everything I’m watching by following me on Letterboxd @knighthawk7734.  Brats (Hulu) Synopsis : From Andrew McCarthy, this new documentary takes a look at the infamous Brat Pack. The film features interviews with the members as they look back at the title that branded them and helped define some of their career. As a member of the group, McCarthy brings a unique perspective. Often the interviews, with actors such as Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, Timothy Hutton, and Demi Moore, among others, feels more like old friends catching up. There’s a sweetness and a lightness to the documentary that is incredibly appealing. The film does a good job of capturing the highs and lows, and helping these actors and actresses give an account of what the pressure of that time—and these high-profile films—meant in their lives and their careers.
