2023 Broncos' Season, Roster Evaluations: Tight Ends
The NFL Draft is in the books and the Broncos' roster sits at 90, the maximum for the off-season. Over the next couple months, I'll be looking at each position group on the roster and make predictions for the Training Camp cuts. Today I continue with the Tight Ends. Tight End On the Roster: Greg Dulcich, Albert Okwuegbunam, Adam Trautman, Chris Manhertz, Tommy Hudson and Nate Adkins About: This will be a fascinating position. Okwuegbunam seemed to be poised for a big role in 2022 but it never materialized. Dulcich was a Third Round draft choice who flashed but struggled to stay on the field. Now, with new leadership, the Broncos added a blocking specialist in Manhertz and a weapon from the Saints in Trautman who comes in a known quantity to Sean Payton and this offense. The question is who takes what role. Dulcich would seem to be the most talented player here, but can he stay healthy and involved? Can Okwuegbunam carve out a role?
