2025 Broncos' Season, Week 5

Week 5:
Denver Broncos 21, Philadelphia Eagles 17
Season Record: 3-2 (2-0 Home)
Key Play: In the fourth quarter, with the Broncos facing Fourth Down, a personal foul was called on Zach Baun on a tackle of R.J. Harvey. It gave the Broncos a first down, allowing them to milk the clock before a field goal to make it 21-17.

Recap: The Broncos have a horrible record under Sean Payton in one-score games. The Eagles have a great record, and a huge home winning streak. Both those statistics received a challenge on Sunday as the Broncos came from down 14 points to get the four-point win in Philadelphia. It's a huge win, perhaps a signature win, for a team with lofty goals and expectations. It was a sign of progress that the defense held tough and the offense was able to claw its way back. As the Broncos head to London, they hit a softer part of the schedule. This is the time to take advantage. With a couple more wins, the team could put themselves in a great spot as the playoff race heats up.

Game Balls:
* Courtland Sutton.
The Broncos' best receiver, and possibly best offensive player, stepped up big. He caught eight passes for 99 yards.
* Nik Bonitto. The Broncos' best pass rusher accounted for 2.5 sacks as the defense stood tall on Sunday.
