Faith in Film 2

Well, less than a month now until I begin the second installment of my class. I am excited and busily working on presentations for this second 12-week run. I'm proud to say that the list has been approved and includes a majority of weeks based on suggestions and feedback I received from attendees during the first run.

The second round will kick off on Wednesday, January 5. The class will move to Wednesday nights at 6 p.m. Below is the list of the 12 weeks, including screenings, with accompanying dates.

Week 1: “Superman Returns.” Wednesday, January 5

Week 3: Screening “The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.” Wednesday, January 19

Week 6: Screening “The Blind Side.” Wednesday, February 9
Week 7: “The Blind Side.” Wednesday, February 16
Week 8: “About Schmidt” Wednesday, February 23
Week 9: Screening “The Ultimate Gift.” Wednesday, March 2
Week 10: “The Ultimate Gift.” Wednesday, March 16
Week 11: “The Book of Eli.” Wednesday, March 23
Week 12: “Children of Men.” Wednesday, March 30

Broncos Draft Targets

  The NFL Draft is just a few days away. On April 25, the Denver Broncos will head into the draft in the midst of something of a rebuild. In the draft, the Broncos have the No. 12 pick in Round 1, then have a Third Round Pick, Fourth Round Pick, three Fifth Round Picks, a Sixth Round Pick, and a Seventh Round Pick. So, what might they be targeting? Let's dive in and look at possible positions. Quarterback : The team clearly needs a long-term quarterback. Jarrett Stidham and Ben DiNucci are there but the team could certainly use someone else. Could they move up for Drake Maye or J.J. McCarthy? Yes, they could. Will the take Bo Nix at 12? It's possible. Or will the Broncos wait until next off-season to make a move? Anything is in play for the Broncos in 2024, but quarterback is surely a need. As you might guess, we're not done. As I've mentioned, he sets a standard for the genre. Here, we seen him bring to life an iconic character. This one is based on a novel, and it has endured.
