The regular season is over, so now networks are dumping special original programming on us for the summer...

Motive, Thursdays at 9 p.m, on ABC
About: This show premiered with a special sneak peak last Monday, and I reviewed it on Tuesday. The second episode aired in its regular Thursday time slot with fellow Canadian import "Rookie Blue." This episode was touted as being better. It was mildly more interesting, but still doesn't feel all that original. They are billing it as completely unique because all you want to discover is the motive. Again, in all crime dramas the detectives discover the motive, so I don't think this is something completely different. It's OK for a summer drama, but it's clear it wouldn't make it during the regular season.

Save Me, Thursdays at 8 p.m. on NBC
About: This Anne Heche comedy was, like "The Goodwin Games," announced during upfronts in the summer of 2012. Despite the fact that all its new comedies were flops and got cancelled, NBC never aired this show during the season. Now it's getting a two episode a week burn off during the summer. That pretty much tells you how the network feels about the show. And with good reason. The premise is weak, and the pilot was awful. The second episode wasn't much better. It's not especially funny or clever, and it's hard to tell what NBC ever saw in the show, but it's probably about right to shun it to the summer.

Broncos Draft Targets

  The NFL Draft is just a few days away. On April 25, the Denver Broncos will head into the draft in the midst of something of a rebuild. In the draft, the Broncos have the No. 12 pick in Round 1, then have a Third Round Pick, Fourth Round Pick, three Fifth Round Picks, a Sixth Round Pick, and a Seventh Round Pick. So, what might they be targeting? Let's dive in and look at possible positions. Quarterback : The team clearly needs a long-term quarterback. Jarrett Stidham and Ben DiNucci are there but the team could certainly use someone else. Could they move up for Drake Maye or J.J. McCarthy? Yes, they could. Will the take Bo Nix at 12? It's possible. Or will the Broncos wait until next off-season to make a move? Anything is in play for the Broncos in 2024, but quarterback is surely a need. Tight End: The team brought back Adam Trautman and still has Greg Dulcich, but it's still a need. Dulcich hasn't been able to get on the field and Trautman hasn't been great. Co
