The End, Chapter 3


From the beginning of the series it's been clear that Deb and Dexter were linked. Dexter said in the first episode that if he loved anyone — if he was capable of love as a psychopath — it would be his sister, Deb. He needs her, he cares for her, and she is his weakness.

Last season, he proved to be her weakness too. When she found out what he really was, she tried to fix him. She made it her mission to help her brother. When she couldn't, she tried to make peace with who he was. When she couldn't do that, she went down a path she was never equipped to go. And now she's lost.

Now it's Dexter's turn. Seeing how lost his sister got, he's working to save her. He's tried to bring her back to her older self, but he's running into similar problems that she did with him. The harder he works to save her, the further he pushes her away from who she used to be.

As Dexter enters his final season, it's becoming clear that Dexter and Deb need each other, but they are bad for each other. And it's also starting to become clear that they won't both make it through to the end. The question is who will be the final undoing of who first.

Broncos Draft Targets

  The NFL Draft is just a few days away. On April 25, the Denver Broncos will head into the draft in the midst of something of a rebuild. In the draft, the Broncos have the No. 12 pick in Round 1, then have a Third Round Pick, Fourth Round Pick, three Fifth Round Picks, a Sixth Round Pick, and a Seventh Round Pick. So, what might they be targeting? Let's dive in and look at possible positions. Quarterback : The team clearly needs a long-term quarterback. Jarrett Stidham and Ben DiNucci are there but the team could certainly use someone else. Could they move up for Drake Maye or J.J. McCarthy? Yes, they could. Will the take Bo Nix at 12? It's possible. Or will the Broncos wait until next off-season to make a move? Anything is in play for the Broncos in 2024, but quarterback is surely a need.
