Hitting the Road



For the first time since our honeymoon, Lindsay and I are headed out on a vacation. Since we were dating, we've talked about getting to visit Las Vegas. In fact, at one point Lindsay thought it would be fun to get married in Las Vegas.

Some people turn their head when you talk about going to Las Vegas, thinking you're just into drinking and gambling. But there is so much more to do here. It's really like an adult Disneyland. There are shows, exhibitions, and lots to see. Each of the casinos is built like a different part of the world, and there are a number of specialty shops — like the four-story M&M store.

Here's what I'm looking forward to:

* The Titanic Exhibit. Even 100 years after it sank, it's hard not to be fascinated by the ship, the people aboard, and its tragic fate.

* Shark Reef Aquarium. I've been once before and it was incredible. I can't wait to show Lindsay.

* TV City. Located in the MGM Grand is a delightful place where you can watch pilots and give ratings to the shows. For someone who loves to watch and evaluate media, it's a dream come true.

* Getting away. Las Vegas feels a million miles away from home. It's a great chance to relax, get away, and experience something different.

Broncos Draft Targets

  The NFL Draft is just a few days away. On April 25, the Denver Broncos will head into the draft in the midst of something of a rebuild. In the draft, the Broncos have the No. 12 pick in Round 1, then have a Third Round Pick, Fourth Round Pick, three Fifth Round Picks, a Sixth Round Pick, and a Seventh Round Pick. So, what might they be targeting? Let's dive in and look at possible positions. Quarterback : The team clearly needs a long-term quarterback. Jarrett Stidham and Ben DiNucci are there but the team could certainly use someone else. Could they move up for Drake Maye or J.J. McCarthy? Yes, they could. Will the take Bo Nix at 12? It's possible. Or will the Broncos wait until next off-season to make a move? Anything is in play for the Broncos in 2024, but quarterback is surely a need. Tight End: The team brought back Adam Trautman and still has Greg Dulcich, but it's still a need. Dulcich hasn't been able to get on the field and Trautman hasn't been great. Co

  Do you like a good Western? It's a classic genre in film and this year I've decided to look at some of my favorite Westerns.
