2015 NFL Preview — AFC Predictions

The Colts have improved each year with Luck. I think they take the next step this year. Here's the AFC Predictions, plus playoffs and Super Bowl below.

AFC West:
1. Denver Broncos, 11-5 — The Broncos still have a lot of talent, and perhaps one last run with Manning.
2. Kansas City Chiefs, 9-7 — Call me crazy, but I like Reid and I think the Chiefs will be better. They'll contend for a playoff spot.
3. San Diego Chargers, 8-8 — I think the Chargers have talent, but I don't believe in Melvin Gordon. With Gates suspended for four games, I think the offense struggles.
4. Oakland Raiders, 5-11 — I like Jack Del Rio and think they have some talent, but this is still a re-building team.

AFC North:
1. Pittsburgh Steelers, 10-6 — Predictions for this division are all over the map. At the end of the day, I like the Steelers' talent on offense. I think they win the division again.
2. Baltimore Ravens, 9-7 — This team lost some players, and their receivers are question marks. But I think they'll be playoff contenders again.
3. Cincinnati Bengals, 8-8 — This is the year the playoff run for the Red Rifle and Marvin ends. I like some of their pieces, but I don't believe in the Bengals.
4. Cleveland Browns, 4-12 — Ugh, poor Cleveland. The Josh McCown era begins…

AFC South:
1. Indianapolis Colts, 13-3 — The Colts have a good team and a mediocre division. They'll cruise to the No. 1 seed.
2. Houston Texans, 7-9 — I like the Texans. Their defense is second to none. The offense is a question mark, particularly with Arian Foster battling injuries.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars, 6-10 — I think the Jaguars will improve and their offense will start to come together. But they still have a ways to go.
4. Tennessee Titans, 3-13 — I like Mariota, but there's not a lot of talent there. I don't see the Titans taking a bit step forward.

AFC East:
1. New England Patriots, 11-5 — Brady is free, and the Pats own the AFC East. Enough said.
2. Miami Dolphins, 10-6 — I think the dolphins take a step forward… into the playoffs!
3. Buffalo Bills, 7-9 — Rex is great at defense. The Bills won't have a ton of offense.
4. New York Jets, 7-9 — I think the Jets improve this year, but not enough to be in the playoff race.

AFC Playoff Predictions:
West Champ — Broncos
North Champ — Steelers
South Champ — Colts
East Champ — Patriots
Wild Card — Dolphins
Wild Card — Ravens

Round One: Broncos over Ravens; Steelers over Dolphins

Round Two: Broncos over Patriots; Colts over Steelers

AFC Championship: Colts over Broncos (my heart says Broncos, my head says Colts…)

Super Bowl: Packers over Colts
